Improv 201 focuses on the core concepts of improvisation. This course is perfect for those wanting to expand improv skills, perform comedy professionally, foster creativity, and/or just have fun.
WHEN
TUESDAYS starting 4.21.26: Every Tuesday for 6 weeks starting May 20th through June 24th. 6PM to 7:30PM at Sugar Space Studios 132 S 800 W, Salt Lake City, UT.
GRADUATION SHOW - June 26th, 7:30 PM
This is for all students completing their course--mixed with some of our pros--to perform their newly learned skills for friends and family. There is a pre-show rehearsal to prepare for the performance, it is included in the full course purchase.
COST
$300 for all 6 sessions + Student Showcase + 2 Tickets to Any Weekend Show
All workshop purchases come with two vouchers to see any Crowdsourced show.

Want to gain the ability to create compelling scenes, interesting characters, and dynamic performances on the spot? Want to become more confident in your improvisation skills and fearless in following your instincts? Improv 201 is for you!
This course teaches the array of concepts needed to sharpen your improv skills. Including character commitment, active listening, object/scene work, storytelling, and stage presence. By the end of this workshop, you will have the tools and knowledge to be a well-rounded improviser.
This class does not have any prerequisites. This is intermediate level workshop. We suggest completing our Improv 101 workshop or having previous performance/improv experience.
The only thing you’ll have to prepare for this class is a curious mind and willing attitude! There will be an optional, free student performance for those interested in demonstrating their new skills for friends and family.
Attendance is not mandatory. If you need to miss three or more weeks, we suggest taking a later date session.

6PM to 7:30PM in downtown Salt Lake City (location sent with confirmation).

After completing the 201 course, you are ready to take advanced classes. We select performers and new cast members from all our events.
