DRAG 101 WORKSHOP

It's time to feel AND fulfill the fantasy! This five week workshop teaches all the basics of turning yourself into a full fledged drag persona (be that Queen/King/in-between). Covering different topics each week, we'll assist attendees with the frame work and details that go into performing in Drag.

Each week covers different aspect of the craft. 
Week 1 - The Culture
      Introduction to the course, history of drag, meeting/getting to know each other. Discuss aspects of the course and goal setting. 
Week 2 - The Performance 
     Types of drag personas, ways to perform, learning from pros, drag voices
Week 3 - The Look
     Make-up, outfits, wigs, themes, elevating looks, heels
Week 4 - The Character 
     Names, titles, milestones, networking, groundwork of show business
Week 5 - The Gig
     Preparing to perform, audiences, utilizing everything, brand construction

Drag Debut Performance 
On the sixth week we will have a drag show performance for friends and family. This show open to all ages is a chance to showoff your newly honed skills. Each workshop attendee will have the chance to do a number and participate in a group number.  Only students who have purchased  the full course can perform in the Drag Debut  show. 
 

COST

$250 for all 5 weeks of class + Debut Show  

$50 single class payment plan available, but  your spot is not guaranteed past week one if we have a larger than normal class. Purchase the $50 single class so we have a head count for attendance

Paying in full guarantees your spot in the workshop and show.

Once the full or single class fee is paid, your name will be added to the student list, and we will email you confirmation.
